Swiss tennis player Stan Wawrinka announced he was ready to return to the court for Monday`s Australian Open. The champion in Melbourne in 2014 has not played for six months because of an injury. He received the Wimbledon trauma, and in August he underwent a left knee surgery and did not participate in the US Open, where he had to defend his title.
The Swiss came to the semi-finals of the Australian Open last season, where he was eliminated by the future champion Roger Federer. Before the start of the Grand Slam competition, Wawrinka will take part in the Tay Breck Tens demonstration at Margaret Court Arina in Melbourne, together with Serb Novak Djokovic and the Australians Nick Kirios and Leighton Hewitt.
