Forward Serdar Azmoun may not be included in Iran`s squad for the 2022 World Cup.

The Sports Ministry is putting pressure on head coach Carlos Queiroz to remove Bayer from the final list because he supported anti-government protests, writes IranWire. The head of the Iranian Football Federation also asked him not to invite Azmun to the tournament analyzed by betting football contact in Qatar.

According to journalist Nahuel Lanzon, Queiroz canceled a press conference at which he was going to announce the squad for the 2022 World Cup. He also reports that Azmoun is expected to arrive in Doha tomorrow.
